How long have you been skating? 3 years

Why did you get involved in roller derby? To get fit, meet friends, hit lasses on skates!

How often do you practice? Twice a week at least

What Pads do you use? Anarchy elbow pads and wrist guards, 187 knee pads

What Helmet do you use? Santa Cruz Bell

What skates do you use? Riedell R3s

What were your first pair of skates? Redwing Bandits!

Where did your nick name come from? Nirvana’s tune ‘Anerysm’, and the fact I could get my name ‘Dan’ in it somewhere. My number 86 is after the Green Day song.

What is your favourite part about being a Roller girl? The whole lot of it; the skating, the skills, the friends, the afterparties

Any top tips for up and coming Derby Superstars? Get your basic skills down first and keep practicing them. Remember nothing combats pad stink!
