How long have you been skating?
6 months

Why did you get involved in roller derby?
I saw a friend play in a local bout and was immediately hooked! I met The Hotties and immediately felt I’m safe hands!

How often do you practice?
3x per week for a total of 7 hours.

What Pads do you use?
Killer 187 knee pads and bullet elbows elbow pads

What Helmet do you use?
A Hot Wheel red coloured one covered in stickers from Thought Bubble 2012 which we were lucky to be invited to attend :)

What skates do you use?
Vipers – again, good value for beginners but I’m sure I’ll upgrade in the future.

What were your first pair of skates?
Pink and white rio rollers which I wore to my first month of derby practise!!

Where did your nick name come from?
It’s a bit of a nickname as it fits well but I also love to bake and make a mean cupcake!

What is your favourite part about being a Roller girl?
My inspiring and massively talented team mates!

Any top tips for up and coming Derby Superstars?
Don’t be afraid to try – no one is born able to skate but it can all be learnt. As our coach Jerry Attric says “fear of falling makes you fall!”
