How long skating?
I skated as a kid, then joined G’N’B for Derby 5 months ago, and I’m addicted!!

How did you get into derby?
My best buddy Baby Jane Hurts’em invited me along, so thought why not!?

How often do you practice?
Minimum of twice a week, but every day if I could!!

Pads?
187 are my pad of choice.

Helmet?
I have a standard one at the mo, but have just ordered the urban caution nutcase…..it is the dogs b*ll**s!! :-))

Skates?
I have reidell dash in white with lush red toe guards.

My first skates??
Ha ha rio disco skates in rainbow colour, they were fab and I still lend them out now to friends that wanna give skating a go!!

Nickname?
All my mates call me Willaboobz it was derived from one drunk eve of fun and laughter and has stuck ever since.

Being a roller derby girl?
I love the spirit in roller derby, it’s like a massive family everyone enjoying the moment and making every second count!!

Top tips?
Through all the bruises, sweat and tears, grit your teeth push that bit harder cause its all worth it in the end.
